The way I started my career of Dungeon Master-ing was a lot like how I tried to begin this blog post. I spend a few minutes over-thinking it, and then, words of wisdom came to me in the form of Shia La Beouf: "Just DO IT." I struggle a lot with the concept of doing something perfect or not doing it at all, but once I got past that initial phase of anxiety, it was pretty easy to just buckle down and start preparing. I wanted a way to extend my friendship with all my friends from my D&D group at school, and taking over the storyline was the perfect way to do it. That, and I needed an official candidate for my Junior Capstone project for school, which is how we got here, to this blog, detailing the entire chronicle from Step One.
